The Crima project was born only 12
years ago, but the people behind the project have been working in the
coffee industry for over 30 years. The idea was to build a machine that
would be easy to dismantle for periodic and full maintenance with easy
access that made it possible to be done directly on site. The initial
challenge was not easy as the component manufacturers had to adapt the
parts to the new requirements that this type of coffee machine needed,
and being a small company no manufacturer wanted to risk investing in
new components that might not have been required by any of the other
major coffee machine manufacturers. After the initial difficulty, the
success of the first machine produced let the company grow and today the
company builds 2000 machines every year.
